She's growing her hair out for Locks of Love. She's never had long hair, so this is new. I may cut mine as well..my hair got LONG. We measured it and it's 14 inches. You need 10 for Locks of Love. I'm going to wait till it grows maybe 2 more inches, then cut it, because I don't want SUPER short hair.
Actually..any suggestions on a short haircut that isn't too mannish? I'm thinking of maybe Mariska's haircut. What say you? In all actuality, my stylist is a genius, and I totally trust her to make me look hot.
Prompt: Choices Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Inara/Kaylee Summary: Jayne cocks his head at her, like he doesn't know what she's talking about. "Havin' fun. Why?" After a moment, he sneers. "Jealous?" Warnings: None, really, except a somewhat possessive Inara. Disclaimer: I don't own Firefly. Which is a shame, because if I did own it, this sort of thing would go on all the time.
i went to the community college and went to registrar where the jackass there failed to inform me on the phone the other day that not only was there a specific time for walk ins but the effin class was filled!
soo i didn't have to leave Easton. the best part of all is that i had to go on a run around and personally visited department offices because the person who is SUPPOSED to help, failed to be helpful at anything but being immensely rude and condescending.
soo i really hate BCCC administration... it pains me that they are getting my money

I posted a while ago saying that I was watching Twin Peaks for the first time and had fallen in love with it. I got many warnings that this community contained spoilers and, seeing that I really DIDN'T want to get accidentally spoiled, I did avoid this community.
Well, I just got to episode 17... I haven't seen past that so I don't really want spoilers but I'm left with the feeling of "If it ended her I'd be perfectly happy".
Of course I don't WANT the series to end. Hell, I kind of have a "Day after Christmas" kind of "Aww it's all over" feeling about knowing who killed Laura Palmer. I just thought that was kind of a cool ending and it feels weird to still have a good chunk of series 2 left.
Anyone else feel that way?
P.S. Even though all my theories turned out to be wrong... I had good theories, damnit!
P.P.S. Since I have to die one day, can I have Dale Cooper there to talk me through it? ... Seriously though, amazing scene.
Gamefly is awesome, it's like Netflix for Video Games! We never have to leave home to get new games! And it's way cheaper than buying and selling back all the games we want!
Angela Kinsey took part of The Office -- a Dwight bobblehead -- along on her maternity leave, and she's glad she did. Daughter Isabel Ruby, now 8 weeks, "loves the bobblehead," laughs the proud new mom. "I dangle it in front of her and she instantly calms down - it's my secret weapon."
"We named her the third day in the hospital. We wanted to meet her first."
Angela, who credits breastfeeding with her 27-lbs weight loss (it took her six weeks), revealed that her Office co-stars were and continue to be a strong support for her. While pregnant, Leslie David Baker, who plays Stanley, provided her with snacks. "Sweet" Steve Carell gave "great baby advice," along with a Boppy nursing pillow. Close friend Jenna Fischer had kind words of her own for Angela, calling her "very peaceful" since becoming a mom.
"It's as if she's have five kids! Isabel is so sweet, I want to hold her all the time."
For a photo of Isabel Ruby, pick up the July 14th issue of PEOPLE magazine. If you're in Canada, ET Canada will have an exclusive image on their show tonight!
The Los Angeles Times has released a bit of exciting information today: the top 10 contenders for each category of the Emmys. They have yet to announce best comedy actor or best comedy supporting actress, but the list for best comedy supporting actor has come out, and some familiar names cropped up.
John Krasinski (for "Branch Wars") and Rainn Wilson (for "Money") are both finalists. Which means one, or both, are likely to show up on the actual ballot.
ETA: I just found out Steve Carell (for "Goodbye, Toby") is also in the top 10. Apparently it's a good day for our boys :)
ETA2: Amy Ryan has also made the cut for her guest spot as Holly in "Goodbye Toby"!
ETA3: Jenna Fischer (for "Fun Run") is also in the top 10 for best supporting comedic actress, while the show itself is in the top 10 for Best Comedy!

I'm standing here outside your door. I hate to wake you up to say goodbye...
I have no idea who actually sang that song, because when I hear it in my head, I can only hear Timbertops voices. Wow, I'm almost feeling CTT nostalgia. But not quite. :)
I put my part in the wrong place when I combed my hair this morning. Hopefully that doesn't signal any bad karma or anything--just a bad hair day.
On the bright side, I managed to underpack and fit everything I need for Westminster (I hope!) into one suitcase. I probably didn't bring enough shirts, but I guess if I need to I can stop at Livingston Mall on Thursday and pick up a few more.
And that's all. See you on the flip side.
Anne
'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane, Don't know when I'll be back again. Oh, babe, I hate to go.
i havnt had the time or energy to update so ill give this a half-hearted attempt now. ive started at both workplaces. the amount of downtown is miniscule but thats FINE because im making major bank to pay for my fuck ups and bad habits. score.
i met with paul and evan on monday after work to figure out some stuff. i had never actually heard paul sing or evan play, so that was wayyy intresting. paul is like neil young at 23. evan supported himself playing blues guitar in the virgin islands for three years. this all plus my writing and voice equals our band. its taking us a bit of time to find our way, but we are all pretty excited with the parts of our eventual sum.
what the hell am i going to do on the 4th. hm. last year was spent at Cheyenne Diner watching the lightning crack through a rainy window that dripped with cumulus tears. it was my choosing to do this, so its more pathetic than poetic. the alone-ness though was something extremly beautiful in and of itself. i lived there among millions of people and i chose to be alone. i am dumb. but thats me.
I am making my own glasses next week. I am nerdily excited about this prospect. They think my lense choices are atrocious. And here I am thinking "how am i going to get the grandpa glasses script filled for myself without them thinking i am a complete lunatic"
As he walked down the stairs into the room where we had gathered I could smell the hint of scotch lingering in shoelaces and bad ideas hanging from tired lashes. It wasnt the time to play Tremblins. This is a reality that I cannot seem to escape, even through songwriting.
